i'm a phd student. and i have a lot of very elaborate hobbies and extra-curricular projects slash procrastinatory strategies.
i was thinking of this blog as some version or subset of my stream-of-consciousness. then i got the idea of making a kind of hyper-illustrated version of a sanskrit botanical lexicon. so sometimes i post a lot of pictures of plants. but other times i like to let it just be my stream-of-consciousness. i know it would be more [tumblr]aesthetic to keep the plants separate in their own blog, but. this is an organic tumbling process. the plants grow along the banks of the stream. also---i cannot allow myself two blogs to procrastinate with.
dravyaśruta means something like 'the unessential part of communication.' it is a concept in jain epistemology. (it is a joke.)
